Skyline High School
Building Construction
Progress is ongoing in the academics and administration buildings despite the challenges with weather.
Administration building tilt panels have been stood and steel framing and deck erected. Framing has started on the office spaces as well as some mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough in.
The south end of the administration slab prep started this week and is looking to pour next week.
Minimal progress has been made in academics the last few weeks because of weather. Once the weather gets warmer, slab prep will begin on the cafeteria area.
Manufacturing lab framing, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough in have continued in the testing center. Duct work and framing has been hung in the kitchen. Concrete decking has been poured and the air handlers set in the mechanical room so that the remaining roof steel can be set. Additionally, the remaining slab has been poured in the manufacturing area to allow for the final tilts to be set.
Tilt panels for the arts classrooms have been stood and the steel framing has started erection. The north half classrooms have been stood and braced.
