Status of Projects May 2023 – Cyprus High School

May 2023

Panels leading to the auditorium continue to be tilted into place.

Trusses have been set in place above the drama studio/black box theater.

Mezzanine on the third floor has been placed, additional cat walks and storage areas have been fabricated. Stairs have been fabricated between the third and fourth floor mezzanine.

Air handlers have also been placed on the third floor. Underground utilities have been laid out to be buried and have utilities run through them. Cast in place concrete walls are being formed.

Panels and steel decking for the academics area is being tilted and secured in place. Decking has been completed on the second and third floor. Fabricators are working on the roof of the academics building.

Framing for ceiling hard lid has been fabricated in the basement of the gymnasium. Insulation is currently being installed in the basement and second level of the track and gymnasium area. Exhaust fan plumbing has been installed in the team rooms and bathrooms. Air exchanger has been installed and HVAC continues to be installed in the basement. Roof drains have been installed in the gymnasium and in the pool area.

Cyprus C has been formed and is curing.
